This is our special homemade pancake recipe that we use…it is totally the unhealthy pancake recipe but for special occasions when husband is craving pancakes but doesn’t want to touch my whole wheat and flax ones, he will kindly request these yummies!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 TBLS white sugar
- 1 1/4 c milk
- 1 egg
- 3 TBLS butter, melted
- chocolate chips
- powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation & Directions
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center a pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle. Sprinkle each pancake with chocolate chips. Flip…top off with powdered sugar if desired and serve!
